1. विश्व मानवतावादी दिवस 19 अगस्त को मनाया जाता है
विश्व मानवतावादी दिवस हर साल 19 अगस्त को मानवीय कर्मियों और उन श्रमिकों को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए मनाया जाता है जिन्होंने मानवीय सेवा करते हुए अपनी जान गंवाई या अपनी जान जोखिम में डाली। 2021 का विषय #TheHumanRace है: जलवायु कार्रवाई के लिए एक वैश्विक चुनौती उन लोगों के साथ एकजुटता में जिन्हें इसकी सबसे अधिक आवश्यकता है।
2. विश्व फोटोग्राफी दिवस 19 अगस्त को मनाया जाता है

3. ओडिशा स्मार्ट हेल्थ कार्ड प्रदान करने वाला पहला भारतीय राज्य बन गया है
ओडिशा बीजू स्वास्थ्य कल्याण योजना के तहत 96 लाख परिवारों के 3.5 करोड़ लोगों को कवर करते हुए भारत की पहली 'स्मार्ट हेल्थ कार्ड योजना' शुरू करने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है। स्मार्ट हेल्थ कार्ड के पीछे का उद्देश्य सर्वोत्तम उपलब्ध स्वास्थ्य देखभाल सुविधाओं पर परेशानी मुक्त गुणवत्तापूर्ण उपचार प्रदान करना है। ये कार्ड एक निश्चित राशि के लिए डेबिट कार्ड की तरह काम करेंगे।
4. भारतीय नौसेना ने वियतनाम के साथ किया द्विपक्षीय समुद्री अभ्यास
भारतीय नौसेना और वियतनाम पीपुल्स नेवी ने दोनों नौसेनाओं के बीच रक्षा संबंधों को मजबूत करने के लिए दक्षिण चीन सागर में एक द्विपक्षीय समुद्री अभ्यास (bilateral maritime exercise) किया।

This is aimed at helping supervised entities to strengthen their internal defences and resilience and bringing focus on root cause analysis (RCA)
